Lemonade Finance is a fintech app that allows Africans in Canada and the U.K to send money back home instantly and for free. With Lemonade, you can hold multiple currencies, which means easy and instant transfers to and from Ghana, Nigeria and Kenya. Before Lemonade Finance, transferring and receiving money from these countries was expensive and slow. We’ve changed all of that and today, we have thousands of users who trust us across the world.
To use Lemonade Finance, download the Lemonade App on Google Playstore and App store and provide details such as your name, address, email address and phone number. Before you make your first transaction, you need to verify your Lemonade account, which you can do in a few easy steps.
If you live in the U.K, you can verify your account using a UK government issued identity card like a drivers licence, British passport or Biometric Residence Permit (BRP).
If you’re in Canada, you can verify your account with a Canadian government issued identity card like a Canadian drivers licence, Residence permit, Canadian passport or Provincial card.
How long does it take before your account is verified?
Within 24 hours of receiving your verification request, our compliance team will begin a review. You’ll receive an email once your information has been validated. If you require further information or urgent verification, please contact us at – support@lemonade.finance.
